Small Wooden Bowl for Potpourri, Fruit or Odds and Ends

A small footed bowl turned from wood, made to be looked at as much as used. The raised pedestal lifts it off the surface, which is the difference between a bowl that reads as tableware and one that reads as an object on a shelf.

Fill it with potpourri on a hallway console, with lemons or apples on a kitchen counter, or with nothing at all on a stack of books. It works just as well in service: snacks on a coffee table, a handful of nuts, a scoop of salad at a small dinner, or a catch-all for rings and keys beside the bed.

The wood grain runs differently through every piece, so no two are quite the same. Wipe it clean by hand and dry it rather than leaving it to sit wet.
